ASPIRE Center for Learning and Development

Shana Nichols, PhD, psychologist and former Clinical Director of the Fay J. Lindner Center for Autism, is pleased to announce the June 2010 opening of her new clinic, ASPIRE Center for Learning and Development, in Melville, NY (110 – LIE corridor). Summer programming includes:

  • June 23 “School’s out for Summer!” Celebration at Dave and Busters for 15-18 year olds
  • “Out and About: Connecting with Your Community” weekend outings for pre-teens, teens and young adults with ASDs
  • Home, community, and clinic-based behavioral and adaptive skill support programs
  • Diagnostic evaluations and consultation services
  • SOAR: Summer Organization for Academic Readiness program
  • 6-week skills-focused individual counseling
  • 7-9 year old “Social Coping” group
  • …and more!
