Jessica Horvath Williams is a President’s Postdoctoral Fellow in Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Minnesota. She serves as the co-chair of the Critical Disability Studies Collective and as a healthcare activist-educator in the Twin Cities. She teaches and researches at the intersection of feminist disability studies and nineteenth-century U.S. history and literature, and her current work revises the history of disability, tracing many of its key ideologies through ideal womanhood, racial capitalism, and unwaged labor.
